Hey, I will be in jackson hole for a medical conference with the gf for a few days in late June, i have about 5 hours a day to kill while she is in her conference.. So i want to bring the DH bike and hit up the trails. Will it be overkill? Which trails offer true downhill terrain? The trail map...
yeah if any of you guys do not know Marc T. then you are clearly mistaken for how great the mountain can be especially if marc is involved in either managing it or even just the trail crew. I have full faith in it re-opening much better if Marc T is involved!
now i've been in the DH world for a bunch of time... started racing downhill at mountain creek in 2000, 2001, whatever year it was... then plattekill as well. I loved going to both places. Plattekill is my second home it feels like, i absolutly love riding that place. I ended up winning season...
well highland was a bit muddy last weekend aka the jumpy trails reallllly hard to ride... sooo unless they dry out a ton by then... id still go platty!
oh man i remember hitting that drop in the snow.. hoping i first wasnt going to slip on ice on the boards and then on the landing in the mud... soo is it that course?
