    NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Yeah I feel the same 28 in the front and 10sp with a 36 in the rear on my trail bike. I hardly ever use the 11.

DH Platform Pedals: Pins vs threaded screws

I rock the Deity's which are the same and i have to agree that i haven't found a downside to them. I think the plastic shrugs off rock hits better than alloy pedals I've had in the past.

The Official Iron Horse Sunday / DW-Link Tech. & Tuning Section

Those holes were added to the linkage to reduce stress in that area. There was a post somewhere by DW where he explained that the holes were to decrease stress, not intended as a second location for rear to mount to. AL

I wouldn't do it. Riding around with things loose usually will end up with damage to the other things like your bearings or the pin will get galled up and grooved.

It should where are you getting it from? I have bought a few from RWC and they all came with every bearing needed to rebuild a Sunday.

Easton Havoc wheels and hubs? Review?

My friend has the same problem, not matter what he tried he couldn't get the play out of the rear hub. I had the same wheel on my bike and never had any issues with play. Al

Oil options for avalanche boxxer cartridge NOT spectro.

I've been using Bel Ray fork oil with my avy cart for the last couple of seasons and would recommend it. From the manual the recommended oils: Golden Spectro 85/150 Cartridge Fork Fluid 5wt or equivalent Pro Honda HP Fork Oil 5wt Pro Circuit Fork Fluid PC-01 Yamalube 01 Suspension Oil / KYB...

    Best Bike tools?

I'd also say to pick and choose from what brands have the best tool for the job. I'd start with a good set of T-handle allen wrenches since that's what most of your fasteners are on a bike. I prefer ones that have the offset T handle where one side is shorter it works great for things like...

The seat tube is rotated forward on the 6 point which changes the kinematics of the suspension. Al

Does anyone make a decent 60mm stem?

Not 60 but close, I've got an Easton Haven 55mm 0deg that I just put on an old 7pt i'm building up.

That looks like a medium. Easiest way to tell visually is the brace from the top tube to the seat tube. If you google large Sunday frame images you'll see on the large that brace goes up higher and the difference is easy to spot. Al

    the best dh pedal ever?

I've got those pedals on both my trail and DH bike for over a year now love them. Holding up great with no issues. Besides the price and performance I like how you can get any of the parts as a individual replacements easily if needed (i haven't) which can be a pain with some other brands. Al

You might get away with the Vector HLR since it looks like you've got the 06 lower link which has some more clearance. If not you'll have to cut out some of the webbing to clear the knob. I had to clearance the lower link to fit a Vector HLR for my friends Sunday with an 05 lower link. I'd...

    race face narrow wide chainring

I've got the wolftooth on my trail bike which is the same type of narrow wide profile. With a clutch derailleur I've only dropped a chain once this summer. Also worth noting is that a 30T front and 10sp. rear cassette is a sweet ratio and working out to be spot on for the trails that I ride...

Boxxer top crown keeps coming loose

Try some anti seize between everything (bearings/cups, bearing/lower race, bearing/top race, top race/csu). Tighten the start nut and than tap your head tube, csu etc with a mallet before tightening the the top crown to make sure its all seated well. Hopefully that will do the trick and last...

Anyone using 9-speed Sram shifter with Shimano 10-speed derailleur?

Nope you're not alone. No spacer here and no issues. The only thing I did was use the a Park Tools DAG first to make sure my hanger was nice and strait 1st. AL

Anyone using 9-speed Sram shifter with Shimano 10-speed derailleur?

Nope that won't work, but you can use a 10sp zee, 9sp sram shifter, and a 9sp cassette. So if you've already got the cassette, and zee, you just need a 9sp sram shifter.

Keep running Minion DHF's or try something new?

+1 I've made that mistake and the traction is sweet but it rolls slow, and doesn't last well at all. AL
