Just picked up a Blur LT frame and now I have a shot at buying either a 44
RC3 ti or a Velvet RL for about the same price. The Velvet is lighter and the travel can be adjusted. The 44 cost about twice as much but I can get it for the same price as the Velvet, and I assume that it would have a...
anything i should try to hit up? i'll be bringing a blur 4x but i don't mind doing dh on it. also anything you could session would rock. if anyone has been to Montara in Pacifica or Carlmont then you know what i'm looking for. any input would great.
I'll vouch for mrcuevas. He used to ride with us up here in the bay. He even painted his uzzi in my garage. and... AND.. he has a truck! make him use it.
I just installed new grips on my Blur 4X and now when i go to shift the trigger hits the new grip. Is there a way to adjust the pull on the shifter so i can get to my smaller gears? The weird thing is that the new grips are much thinner than the old grips I had. Any info would be great. Thanks.
i had a bullit a few months ago. i was just like you. just a weekend rider. the hardest thing for me to do was sell my baby to buy another bike, but i'm glad i did it. i picked up a used vp-free and i'm loving it. try it out before you buy a demo. it'll feel more at home, and take less time to...
i saw once here before a sram xo derailluer that was all carbon. i was trying to find wo makes it, and the website. can anyone here help me out. thanks.
i think $600 is a little high for an 02 fork. i have an 02 supert on my bullit and it rocks, but i wouldn't pay $600 to get it. for $50 more you can get a new 03 from cambria.
i have a set of the old ones before they started putting the extra wrap around the knee. they're okay, but the knee part slips out ALL THE TIME. thinking about buyng a set of extra large leg warmers to go over the whole thing just to secure them to my knee.
i was just over at n* with my bullit and it felt like my bike was a hard tail. i have no idea where or how to set the spring and rebound on my fox rc. i think the rebound was so slow that going downhill fast bottomed out my shock and it just stayed bottomed out. can anyone fill me in on how i...

i heard that bike is pretty heavy for just a long travel trail bike. i actually have one in my sights, but i'd have to sell my specialized enduro for it. how does it ride?
Living in the city is expensive. I wouldnt try doing it unless my girlfriend and I made at least 80k a year. I used to be a realtor for the bay area, but gave up on it a few years back. I still know the market and still have realtor friends that could be helpful to you.
