Since a couple years, the Monkeyfest is the same date as our bike festival in East-Hereford (45min up-north of KTA). This year, we changed our date to July 12-14th so I expect to see at least some Monkey over there. Treesaw, that means you!
Shuttle run on Friday, guided group rides on Sat and...
I'd say he didn't ride in QC in the last 10 years.
Jozz, I'll be at the "Future of mountain biking in Laurentides" conference tomorrow. We're talking about a non-motorized 850km trail network. Maybe we'll have time to catch up and grab a beer after that. Same phone number? Or come join us at...
Treesaw, I told you last year that you should change the date of the MonkeyFest!!!
It's the same weekend as the FestivAllezY/raid Jean d'Avignon in East-Hereford... and the Quebec Games in Shawinigan... and the IMBA TCC visit in Bromont... Damn!
I have an idea! Move the MonkeyFest to...
MJ and I will be in Kingdom for the weekend with a bunch of friends but we won't stay in the MonkeyLodge. We will be at Brighton NP (because of our dogs).
See you on the trails :)
Be a man! Bring some local products that they don't have access to! What about a sample from the ultimate beer : McKracken Flower from Bilboquet. You can also pick up some standard scotch ale (Délivrance from Brasseurs & Frères as example). Or if budget is not an issue, get some Corne de Brume...
Deyv & Isa are now in Sherbrooke.
I'm living in Montreal (but building trails all over the province).
@Bishop: so, will you join us for the Kingdom Trails MonkeyFest?
@Deroyo: living in another province doesn't count as "close to Montreal" :P
And for those interested in discovering new trails, I'm building since almost 2 years in East-Hereford. It's a 45min drive from KT. Typical east coast XC with a lot of nice features along the way. Pics to come if some are interested.
We're from Montreal too. If we share the ride to Burke, we can take the truck and split the gaz. If not, I'll take the car! Let me know if you need a lift. :)
Black Sheep
Worst movie ever made? Not sure. Worst FX - that's confirmed.
"An experiment in genetic engineering turns harmless sheep into blood-thirsty killers that terrorize a sprawling New Zealand farm"

It's not that bad being a man-whore when you're your own pimp too! Bi-atch

Hey Mama Monkey,
Count me in for the M'Fest. Marie-Joséem my GF, will also be there :)
We'll install the tent somewhere in the backyard.
Hope you'll have some good bacon this year again !

We're presenting the première at Bromont, QC next weekend so I was "forced" to watch the movie. Start smoothly with a bio of each rider, but get stronger and end up being really good. Probably the longest bike movie in a while at 60min.
For those of you that will be at Bromont, we're also...
Do you mean St-Andrews in Newfoundland? If so, I doubt it will be ready. Most trails are still covered with Snow in Quebec and NL is higher up north. ;)
Recently heard a loud bang while in the server room. A SUNfire 4500 (48x 500Gb in an enclosure) got dropped 3 or 4ft. +20 disks totalled before the machine was even racked. 50K$ worth of equipment...
Also saw a full cabinet suffer when the raised floor failed under it. For fellow sysadmin...
Actually, Deyv and Isa just moved to Sherbrooke 2 weeks ago but they're still a few monkey left in Montreal.
The trail guide for the whole area is available on www.AllezY.net/rep_sentiers if you're looking for places to ride.
We only have pretty average mexi food, but we have a bunch of...
