Ah, I didn't even look hard enough to see you had a CCDB. I've heard amazing things about that shock so I'm sure it plays a big role.
I'm not sure if it being lower or slacker makes much of a diffference? Mine is drilled so it is lower than the '07, but I can see it being shorter make a bit...

hmm it will be interesting to see how these 800mm bars. pretty cool looking but i don't even know if i could ride with another couple inches on the end of my full ons. where to draw the line?

why do you think it is that this version keeps speed through rough better? i feel that my older model definitely gets bogged down in rough so I'm interested in why you say that.
Looks simpler than what I expected.
I still like it though since it is enclosed. I would think that would mean less chance of mangled derailleurs and hangers. Seems cool to me... I wish my bike had one.:busted:
I would be very much interested as I need to get quicker. I can't do anything the weekend of the 3-4 (SAT), but if you setup another date somewhere in the Bay Area with decent riding and more time in advance.... I would definitely be interested in going.
So you're already having one in Fontana and you're judging interest for one in Santa Cruz/San Jose? I was a little bit confused up there.

Yeah that is what I drew out of it. They tried to make it seem like he was just angry because he was losing his job... I just think now they don't want to honor the previous pricing they offered so they're telling me they had no control, blah, blah blah.
