New issue of DIG is Trails: http://blog.defgrip.net/2014/01/behind-the-cover-dig-trails-issue/
Lots of true dirt coverage. After 30+ years of riding bikes, I finally got my name in a BMX mag. Thanks to Arod! Pretty cool to go thru the mag and know a few people and say a number of them rode...
Great vid Mickey!
RIP Southwick :( - that place was fun and I was hoping I'd get a trip back there at some point. I skated a ramp up in Hatfield BITD. Built in someone's family tobacco barn. I heard about Sunset Ranch from an old school homie. Great to see some dirt still going on up there...
Hey Mutt - we got rain (stoked!) which was sucked up quick since our stuff was so dry. Trees got much greener in the last couple of days and are filling the woods in. Feels like spring finally.
We have had some good weekends. Last year was all quiet but last few weekends have had good...
That is a great article Mutt! So true on the away > down comment.
Another good thing is to stop at the trails during the rain and seeing what the water does and where it goes. you don't need much pitch at all to get it off the tread/run.
CMC - I'm sure you have seen this but if not:

Looks like every set has that design you were putting down a few years ago. You can tell the place just works from the pics.
I heard about those trails from an old school bmx buddy that lives up in Northampton. Good to see some a trail scene still going on up there. Fat-Trax and Custom Cycle have shops in Easthampton so there should be good LBS support for younger riders although I have noticed a trend that you see...
Anyone from the board on it? For some reason it's been the place to post trail pics for our guys and see stuff from trail heads from all over the earth. Bunch of cats from AUS and the UK dig hard! And west coast guys are building insane stuff too.
Mine is donatunionstreetbikes if anyone...
Saw the vids on the FB. Looks like a great time. You guys did a crazy good job getting up and running in such a short time from Sandy. Big props! Trails were looking SICK!
Have you tried putting it on mtbnj.com? Might get someone local.
Also doesn't Milford have a new pump track? Maybe post an ad on the wall there and see if it sells?
Wish you were closer to our spot. It's running the best it has ever but no one is around to ride. It's been me and one local the past few weekends. The nice part is it's not too hot or too cold and the trails aren't too dry or wet. But it takes the 2 of us almost an hour just to un-tarp and...
yellowfox - looks good and I am glad the BB height is still at a positive. I think those bars are made for the fixed gear crowd - they look a little narrow. I know there are some companies like Deluxe that make bar end extenders. Maybe an inch on each side would be good.
Let me know what you...
PNJ - Beasties followed by EPMD, VanOrman's (one of my favorite vid sections is their Standpoint interview) and lots of misty and buff trails make a dope clip. You guys did a killer job at Lynwoods - I will miss seeing pics and vids from there.
Yellowfox - glad to see you are keeping an old Molly up and running. I know there hasn't been much action from USB but it's been hard getting US made frames built even at the prototype level.
I have specs for a V5.1 Molly all drawn up and they will be based around a 16.5" Axle to crown...
pnj - real sorry to hear about Lynnwood Trails. That place looked dialed - with the buffed clay and lush foliage.
Just hope you guys don't get any tickets to add insult to injury. Hope you all find a new spot or an existing place to ride/dig.
