Loose the large chain ring and replace it with a bash gaurd. I never use the large chain ring and you gain a bunch of grd clearance, and confidence for going over obstacles.
I love it
I need input for a friend of mine. He is 5' 3" tall and wants to purchase a new bike for xc and trail riding. I would rate him as a intermediate rider and he is in his late 20's. He is prepaired to drop some coin on the new ride. He currently is leaning toward the Yeti 575 enduro.

Wanted to get everyones opinions. I have a 24 cycles Toy 4 in the bright yellow. I am kinda tired of the yellow and it stands out like a sore thumb when I do urban. So I was thinking about new black powder coat. Either satin black or gloss black. Problem is all of my components are black. Is it...
Question: Is the 32t size of the e13 supercharger bash gaurd what I need if I am removing my large chain ring and replacing with the bash gaurd? I have Shimano LX 22/32/44 cranks and rings.
I want to make sure that the bash gaurd sticks up higher than the chain
Thanks

What is everyones favorite place to buy your mtb parts?
I am mainly talking about stuff for park and DJ bikes. 26 or 24inch
I have used Unreal Cycles in the past
does everyone prefer sealed or unsealed
I only ride street and park with his bike, no off road stuff
I guess the question is "are the sealed pedals worth the extra money"
I am currently rockin the Roach FR shin gaurds having moved away from the
lizard skins so I could protect my knees as well.
I might try to go cheap and replace the pins with allens
If I cant find the right size then I will spring for some cielinski's
peace
I have some Woodman pedals on my Toy4 and the pins are sharp as $hit!
These are not the SPIKEY pins they are flat on top but they have really done a number on my calves a couple of times
So I am looking for some pedal recommendations
If I can I would like to stay in the $70 range if possible...
I have a Toy 4, which I think is very close to the DOB geometry. I am running 24's and lovem. I am an old school (80's) BMXer and just cant get used to the 20 inchers anymore. The 24 ride is perfect for me.
