Good morning Monkies! I'm off to the gym to start the day right! I spun around town for 2 hours yesterday in 65 degree weather, could not ride trails because gumbo clay mud is like cement. Nothing on my kill list today because I see beauty in everything now that I have Yahoo porn glasses.

Mornin!

Coworker scheduled a 3-4pm meeting. I think not good sir, I think not. Brought the two wheeled machine with me and I must feed the itch.

Snowmageddon Stella ended yesterday afternoon. News is reporting that we got 26" but I got far less at my house up by the lake. The blue skies and sunshine today is a nice relief from the windy whiteout of the past few days.

Morning monkeys. My contacts seem to be a little fudged up this morning. I wonder if my left eye popped out, cause I can't hardly read anything. Oh well, I need to go hang some duvetyne on something shiny.

Good morning, friends. Masters swim this morning. 2200 yards. The cumulative effect of three swims this week and shoveling a shit-ton of snow has left my shoulders and arms in ruins. Maybe I'll rest them tomorrow. No promises though.

I'm keeping it simple today. The plan is to...

-finish this coffee
-work
-poop
-lunch
-work
-eat dinner
-beer
-???
-sleep

Today looks beautiful outside. I'm tired as hell from staying up until 2:30am......but perhaps I can talk myself into another bicycle ride.

Still need to play with the gopro a little more. Uploading to YouTubez kills the pixels. Come for a ride down a trail 2 minutes from home. Flat as a pancake.

Here. Took Haley out for a bike ride yesterday. She can ride just fine but has trouble getting started if it's not flat or down sloped. She was complaining about her seat hurting her girl bits, so I need to figure out a better saddle for her - any ideas?

Morning Monkeys.

One nice thing about the boy being at the house is little man is also at the house during the day and on the weekends. He's totally mastered the strider, I think he will be ready for pedals in July on his birthday.

@stoney take her to the lbs and have her try some out, maybe? I've always been picky about my saddle.

Ugh. Feeling a little slow this morning after a late night impromptu wheeling trip with the local Isuzu 4x4 club. Everything here in CR is turbo diesel juicy deliciousness.

MadDog had the same issue. She was tiny, so she was on a 12" for a while.

Damn I wish she still wanted to ride. :(

What are you using to edit your videos? you can do some export settings (depending on software) to make things nice for youtube
GoPro Studio. It just seems to turn to poop as soon as its uploaded to YouTube. The video file looks fine and it looks a lot better on Pinkbike - https://www.pinkbike.com/video/467544/

Please expound upon this. I've tried using multiple export settings and youtube has killed it every time regardless.
:stupid:

Have tried many different export settings...

I wonder if uploading a video with too high of a bitrate could be the cause? The one last night was set to around 35mbps, I think. Maybe its just getting crunched down and pixelated in the process?
Could be, youtube does not list what their actual playback mbps is

Decided to start the process of selling the apartment and buy the house in Copenhagen so we can be in place for start of school in August. Still have not secured a job yet but it should be possible by then. I'm pretty excited.

Morning.

Finalize papers on my house tonight. Bikes come out of storage this weekend. Raod crews were out this AM cleaning the shoulders. Need to find a park-&-Ride location just outside Kelowna and ride the roadie to werk.

New house has a 39' pool, so I'll be joining you IRB in the dead shoulder department!

Gotta go condemn a transmission...

Night ride last night, dang I always seem to forget how much fun night riding is when I haven't done it in a while. Bonus: the gal I'm dating also rode, it was her first night ride ever and she was super stoked on it.

Where you going riding? TIme?

That was my plan for Saturday. Unfortunately, she's little (4.5 y/o) and most kids saddles are pretty big compared to her.
If kid's saddles are too big for her, maybe a svelt / narrow regular saddle? Or something with a really short horn?

New job has me tinkering/designing stuff 3 days in. And I still have access to a Bridgeport, lathe and a couple 3D printers. AND my new boss is chill as fuck.

SO happy...

Thinking a 3:30 hot lap up RR -> MW -> DR. I could be swayed on location but am trying to finish before 6.

You moved to Kelowna? Some amazing riding to be had. What are you doing there? Everybody I met in BC was working at mill.
Yeah, moving into Kelowna (well, we bought in Vernon) and working at the Mitsubishi dealership in Kelowna. Reallllly looking forward to riding the area after 8 years in the flat plains of Alberta...
