So I went up to the mtn to ski Saturday morning (it was awesome!), and then I went and helped out with a cyclocross race here in Bend. The course had snow in spots, mud in spots, and was quite long with a steeeep runup that killed people. The crowd was rowdy as we were drinking Fireball and then hell, everyone is such good friends in town that some people decided to throw snowballs at the racers to cheer them on. My last picture shows a direct hit.

If that turned you off then you definitely wouldn't like cross. Cross racers are a pretty tough bunch!

If that turned you off then you definitely wouldn't like cross. Cross racers are a pretty tough bunch!

I'm good at cross, but hate running. I tend to complain if I have to get off my bike a lot. I don't run or jog....you can do it, just be faster than everyone else on the riding parts
