As it sits here.
I'm hoping that after pedals, and maybe another tweak or two, it'll stay under 14lbs. Not bad for a 58cm frame...this was a leftover team frame, it says "Paris-Roubaix Special Edition," but it's not. The PR bikes had longer stays and forks, and cutouts for wider tires, this one is a standard "Team Sprint" layup, no special geo, which is why I have it. Our normal F1 Sprint frames were about 1,200g, but the team ones wound up about 1,000g for the same size, due to some special layup tweaks.

Another neat feature is the team bikes have forks with alloy dropouts and no lawyer tabs. The team bikes get wheels swapped all the time, they're racked, etc, so for safety and no worries they get alloy dropouts. The downtube cable guides are just guides too, no barrel adjusters are found here.

Had planned on putting full 7900 on there, but I kind of fell into an amazing Enduro ceramic BB, probably the most amazing BB I've come across. When it was installed, the cranks would just spin for days, it was like an old-school Campy square taper BB. Just incredible. So I couldn't pass that up, and put my Vumas on there. I had planned on matting them out, they're gloss now and matte clearcoat would look better with the frame, but I was getting impatient to get it done. Maybe next week after the holiday I'll bust out the scotchbrite.

Scored some team issue 3T stuff with blue stripes too, Team stem and an Ergonova Team bar round out the cockpit.

Sorry for the super-long post, I've just had this f'ing thing in process for like 3 months, and now it's finally done and I'm stoked.
I'm thinking I'm going to clear out the garage a bit, it's getting a bit over the top lately. So either I'm done with new bike posts for a while, or all the room in the garage will make me go on a spree.

Yeah, I was thinking of doing that this weekend, line 'em all up or something...
Hoping my bars for the C50 get here today.

Very nice and love the wheel set too. Now how does it ride then?
I've been thinking about a set of the new 303s to complete the "team issue" look, but we'll see.
Finished it on Friday, and spent Friday night through Monday morning in a haze of a terrible cold, barely went outside at all. Tomorrow AM's Thanksgiving ride is the first chance I'll have to get out on it. I'll let you know.

Hotness. The 3T stuff is money with that frame.

If you need to unload a bike over the winter, I will be in need come February timeframe depending on team obligations...

It the SLX tubulars?
Yeah, the EC90SLX, I really like these wheels a lot. Light, fast, and great braking for a carbon wheel.

that is damn nice James! A total keeper
Thanks, I'm pretty chuffed on it. It looks neat alongside my F95 Team alloy framed bike, kind of "little brother/big brother."

Coming across those blue 3T parts really made the bike. Originally it was going to have the new Deda white stuff (Newton stem, Presa bar, SuperZero post), but they didn't show up as Interbike samples for some reason, and I'm still waiting. But I think these look better honestly. The stem is a used part I got from the team, it still had some dirt/mud on it from some race...

I will be unloading a large number of bikes/frames/parts coming up soon, probably 10-12 between bikes and frames. What size do you ride?

Dude, that is awesome. I didn't realize the team bikes had all those little tweaks. You must really love your job. I am envious.

Yeah, the team bikes get all sorts of little things. Or they'll use a stiffer front end, with the special carbon layup, with a standard-stiffness (though lighter) rear end for more all-day comfort, while still keeping the stiffness that the pros want.
I just get to tag onto their coattails and get all their cool leftover stuff. I will admit that I was kind of hoping that it was a "real" Paris-Roubaix bike, it would have built a really cool winter/rain bike; wider tires, longer wheelbase, the whole deal. Maybe I can come across one this spring if we make some extra.

That one of the frames that was being sold not too long ago at discount prices? I wanted one...badly.

Unfortunately, looks like we're dropping Felt next year. Kind of bummed.

They did go pretty cheap, especially considering the engineering time that went into them. All things being equal, they'd probably have been about $4-5k retail, as they were very special frames done in very small runs.
We still have a couple left... :)

Bummer about that for sure, can I ask why? PM if you like.
