Please help me find my bikes... There's a cash reward if you lead me to either of them. If the thief is reading this, merry F'ing Christmas to you to pal!!!

As far as I can tell, both bikes were taken from my closed-in garage on Christmas eve, or possibly the day before.

Bike #1
Rocky Mountain ‘Speed’, full-suspension bike
Frame:
Rocky Mountain speed, 1995 model with 31.6mm seat tube.
This frame was modified and repainted: red front triangle, black rear triangle. Hayes brake mount with brace added to rear triangle, and seat tube gussets added to front triangle above the shock. The yellow ‘Rocky Mountain’ sticker was also applied off center towards the rear a bit.

Bike #2
Giant ATX-880, hard tail
The frame is metallic blue. There's a 'Pacific Cycle' sticker on the down tube, a Rocky Mountain sticker on the seat tube, and a reflective Candian flag on each side of the top tube.

This stuff is all pretty old technology, but I would very much like to get them back. I need them to commute to work...

Please pass this around if you could and email me at stolenbikes@telus.net if you have ANY info that might help. See the attached photos of my bikes...

Thanks,
Kelly W

i'll keep an eye out for them. give your insurance company a ring, maybe your homeowner's or renter's insurance will provide for their replacement with some fresh iron...

Thanks Toshi,

That's the plan for 1st thing tomorrow, although I'd really just like my old bikes back... I almost lost my right eye on the speed riding down Seymour so it has some sentimental value, not to mention a few rare components. I use to work as an engineer at Syncros designing some of the hardware, so they stole my bike and part of my resume...

Ironically the insurance company I had last year would have covered the full deal. That's the only reason I was with them... They didn't offer that deal this year so we switched, now that's just bad timing. I think the new guys only cover up to $500 max. You know, ya never think it'll happen to you till its too late...

more photos...
