The race is October 16-17 and is ALWAYS a good time. We are working hard to make this the best Parkfield ever. The XC course is really cool, no laps here, we've got TONS of room, not many races you can do 20+ miles without riding the same trail twice. Our goal is to have the entire dual course watered this year which should make it a blast. The DH is really fun, will blong go for a three in row? The STXC track will be slightly different from last year (were gonna make it a bit less painful) but will definately still put on the hurt.

Parkfield was my first DH race, ahh the memories.
I ran over a horn from a cow skull near the finish line. It was flat 4 seconds after crossing the line. Talk about timing!

i couldn't go last year b/c of a prior commitment. this year the ms ride and parkfield are on different dates. i'm there. note to everyone though, beverages are not the responsibility of race organizers--think ahead.
