Lately I have been on a big kick to find a sub $10 white that you can actually enjoy drinking.

We had to go out for batteries tonight for the new remote, and found the 2005 bottle of Evil chardonnay in our path. Picked it up for about $8.75 cold.

Turns out it was pretty damn good. Not as buttery as some of its higher priced friends, but for a sub $10, it was dang good.

So if you find yourself staring at a clear bottle chard with an upside down "EVIL" on the label, and you want to drink white, there ya go.

I have been rally into Argentine Torrontes. There are a ton out there & most are under $10 & quite tasty too (nothing like a chard though).

I'll have to look for these... never tried them before. I'm partial to that mouth-puckering goodness that is NZ sauv blancs.

I love love love torrontes. It's my favorite white right now.
