I just did a standard oil/Seal Job on my Talas. Decided to add float fluid to the air chamber because I had some, and had never done it before. I took the top cap off via the retainer clip and after collecting the 4 tiny springs and bearings that scattered everywhere. I drained the old oil, and added the required 15cc of float fluid into the little hole up top.
After reassembly, when in slower rebound, when pulling up fast, or out of a G out, there is a lot of suction and the fork rebounds very slow. I am unsure if its related or not to the service, or the fact the fork was sitting for about 6 months.
Is there an air purge procedure I should have done while doing this service?
