Ive ridden a lot of hardtails but according to my friend, the Le Toy takes the cake.

The only problem w/ it is the $$$

Also, make sure you put a good fork on it (dj2 dj1 z1f z150f ect.)
Theres nothin worse than runnin around on a great frame w/ a POS fork.

Hey, saw your thread and had to comment. I have run a lot of highend frames like this, basically all the big ones (Evil, Ellsworth Specialist, Brooklyn Parkbike, and now my Toy) but the Toy is the best. It is versitile in many ways including the tire and brake choices you can run ( I rock disks with 26's). I use a 4" dj on the front and a single speed format and the bike rules (though a geared set up with a 5-7 fork works well, too). I do drops, jumps, regular trails and street, all with ease. The low tt makes for easy dismounts and tricks and the wieght is stable but light. Money wise its worth every penny and if you really want a 3, well, lol I'll sell ya mine to get a 4.

Best dj/freeride/mtb IMO, get one!

Lol, I would like to confirm that Boyboy can type in clear english. Lol, j/k.

I will be honest, I loved my parkbike, and the fact that it was steel, oh man, that bike ruled! On the other hand, my toy has so much more mud clearance, which was poo on the Parkbike. The brake system is more clean as well. Just little details on the Toy make it a superior bike, imo. Its burly too, not that the parkbike wasn't, but I haven't heard of anyone tweaking a Toy, that gives me some confidence considering its AL. I also liked the geo of the park with a hyena setup, but I get a similar ride with dual 26's (or 24's) on the Toy (a much more asthetically pleasing setup. The Parkbike is deffinetly my second, and a close second, but still a second.

I ride one and it can take anything you can give it. Super short chainstays are dope for manuals and dirt jumps, rides downhill with no problems 24 or 26 what more can you ask for

why not go to greenlake?

sure, you can't really do what you want right off the bat and the 'dirt' is evil, but spend some time there, become a local, and you can pretty much own the place.

nice big dirt piles just sitting there........
just be nice to the bmx kids, they are the ones responsible for it.

I have wanted a le toy for years ever since I read an article in Mountain Bike Action on the first le toy. I can't think of a reason not to get one. I almost bought one, but couldn't find one used. Can't quite afford a new one yet. Soon though. Dude just buy it and rip. That is what they are made for.
