besides Spot Cycles, what other frame manufacturers produce a 29er frame that is Gates Carbon Drive compatible?

i'm looking to build a SS commuter/XC bike. i didn't realize that Spot Longboard is a pretty darn expensive frame and looking for something <$1000

Contact Davis Carver at Carver Bikes - they do a great Ti frame designed for the belt drive and it would be close to a grand. Note the bike below is a 96er - but you can order it however you like from Carver.

FYI, I have a friend who's been on a Spot Longboard since midway through last season. He intends to turn it into traditional chain-and-sprockets drive. Seems he has problems with belt jump and belt drive slippage. He's a strong, powerful rider so that may have something to do with it.

But if you're talking commuter bike, might not be as much an issue.
