8.5 years later it is finally overA Failed Plan
1. US forces took Iraq in less time than it took Janet Reno to take the Branch Davidian compound.
2. It took less time to find evidence of chemical weapons in Iraq than it took Hillary Clinton to find the Rose Law Firm billing records.
3. It took Teddy Kennedy longer to call the police after his Oldsmobile sunk at Chappaquiddick than it took the 3rd Infantry Division and the Marines to destroy the Medina Republican Guard.
4. Pres Bush took Iraq in less time than it took to count the votes in Florida in the year 2000!
...And the Democrats called the Iraq effort a failed plan?

I just hope and pray that we will never, ever go through something like this again. Unfortunately, I'm not exactly hopeful on that aspect.

This topic is exactly why I dont watch tv or read media and even steer clear of this forum.
too many died and gave everything for a ungrateful group to call it a failure. they weren't there to see the stories and faces of the lives we enriched and impacted. there are two sides to every story and shunning dead and wounded for the sake of pure numbers driving a political debate is purely a mockery in the face by us that were affected.

Everyone has an opinion. In 2002, I met a girl who told a bunch of New Yorkers she didn't see what the big deal was about 9/11.
No one would ever say the US military did nothing less than a superb job in Iraq. Ultimately I feel that our political leadership has sent us down the wrong path.
The big deal about 9/11 was that we hysterically reacted by starting two wars that drove our nation bankrupt and significantly nudged us towards a police state.
The sad thing about 9/11 is we blame extremists for what happened yet fail to look at our own meddling and interference on other countries affairs as the jumping off point.
How long do we have to ****ing do this bull****, Im so sick of the ghost wars, the arms deals, the support of oppressive regimes, then the condemnation of said regimes down the road.
We've laid a lot of seeds in this gigantic field, most of them are bad.
...and please don't anyone take this as me calling our troops anything other than the basis for how a military should react and behave. We're fortunate to have such a diverse and compassionate military.

My favorite part is when Aidan Delgado assumes that he can speak for all of our military men and women.

Maybe I missed the part where they referenced a poll of current service members and their opinion of the war. Can you point me to the the time in the video where this comes up?
Or are you trying to tell me that those 4 or 5 dudes were elected by their fellow servicemen to be the mouthpiece of the armed forces?
Or is it that you think the graph of donations means that the majority of servicemen support Ron which therefore validates Specialist Delgado's statement?
