So this is slightly complicated, and after skimming most of the NORBA 2006 Rulebook I still can't figure it out....but in the mountain states cup expert men 19-24 is grouped with 25-29 for 4X and DS. Now my question is: If I place, say 7th in DS expert 19-29 and I get third place points (because of my age bracket), does this count as a top three finish that I can use to upgrade to semi slow, or am I still 7th? Hopefully that is clear enough to get some kind of a response.

Use it to upgrade. Even if they cared, they probably wouldn't even know.
