Curious as to your thoughts. Looking at it mostly from a "map my ride/figure out where I'm going" way.
I have a coworker who uses it all the time when traveling; just mark the hotel as "home" and he's always good to go.
Since I'm pretty new to my neck of the woods, no solid riding partner yet, I thought it might be pretty cool to upload some cool routes into the thinking box, and head out the door...

Anyone?

I have the 305 and really like it. I've used the map feature a few times to determine which way I needed to head to go home. I like the adjust ability on the display as well

Leaning towards the 705. We've got hookups with Garmin (obviously), and about 75% of the riders in the office have them. Maybe after I pay off the last couple of bikes I bought I'll pick one up...

Everyone I know who has the 705 loves it, especially if they travel and ride in new places a lot. The city street maps come in handy. Plus the way you can view your data is pretty amazing...its hows you the route plus all of the stats. I find it interesting to look at the grades of the climbs I've ridden.

Yeah, my coworker loved it for his Taiwan trips. It was amazing to see the profiles of the rides he did, he found some truly amazing routes.

Yes Loco, it'll hook up to an ANT+ PowerTap, if one happened to have one of them...

If I get one, it'd be a 705 I think.

Hoping to stumble across a cheap SRM wireless setup.
Good luck...I hunted for a long time. I have a friend who has the Quarq Cinco and he really likes it. Its dependable and way cheaper than an SRM. My dream setup would be the Cinco with the 705
