I just have a standard Tioga Aheadset, but the other day I noticed some slop in it and upon closer examination I found out the top, plastic washer like thing has split in two. I can actually see a bearing or two. The other problem is, I've tightened it down to remove the slop, but it's too tight (slow steering) and I'm sure that it's going to futz things up as soon as I hop off something as little as a curb. I've dropped by an LBS near my work looking to pick up a washer they might have lying about and he didn't have any.

I don't want to buy a new headset just because of this if I don't have to. So, anyone got one for me or know where I might get one?

I had a bunch of crap like that before I moved, but threw it all out rather than move it 3000 miles.
