I found a set of SRAM Plasma Disc hubs but I don't know if they are any good at all...I do mostly Freeride/downhill with a little bit of XC so I would like something to work for that kinda thing.

sram hubs are pretty nice, im not very familiar with the plasma's, but i run the 9.0 sl hubs on my trials bike , and have cartridge bearings. They are very very smooth and are hard to tell a diff from XTR's. Very similar, but are very good for hard riding and lots of loads, they even have a disk adapter that you can just bolt your disks right to it when needed, and are very reasonable for freeriding....i recommend them to anyone who doesnt have alot of cash, and wants a good hardcore hub.
