I'm not too hot on spending the $350 for the new rearends for my 03 SGS (super flexy), and I've heard about drilling the linkage plates in 2 spots on each side, above and below the shock mount, and adding in 2 pieces of 3/8 rod or a bolt. I read on another board where someone had done this and it worked great. Anybody else try this? I'm a little leary of drlling the plates out, but hell, its much cheaper than buying the new rearend.
