Over in Mississippi not far from Natchez.

I've heard they are one of the finest trail networks on the southern US.

Anyone ride there often?

GO!
I used to ride there often and man its sweet.
Been a while but my buddies said they added some trail so your probably looking at almost 20 miles of good stuff (XC i mean).

Its perched on a really cool lake and you can camp .
Some nice climbs.
Can ride it in either direction(unlike ruston).
Be sure to warm up on the trail around the lake 1st(also good at night).

I'm going to be back in the gulf coast area next week if your still around.

I've ridden Linkin park Ruston trail a few times and its at least that good if not better by now.

Again, if your going to be there weekend after next i can make it.
PM me

We might be over there this weekend... I was wondering if the trails were ok from all the rain we've had lately...

'round here people sometimes refer to places with shorter names:

Soquel Demonstration Forrest - The Demo
Henery Coe State Park - Coe
Wilder Ranch National Open Space Preserve - Wilder

...and people will say that they "Rode the Demo", "Rode Coe", or "Rode Wilder".

So what I'm wondering is if people in Mississippi ever say, "Yeah this weekend I went and rode the Homo"?

That was such a dumb joke with a such a long drawn out process to get to the punchline only a nimrod like me actually laughed. :D ;)

Yeah, they have had alot of rain.
You can call the forresty ranger office for the "Homochitto Clear Springs" park and fascility.
They can give you the latest info.

I did a ride at the RockyHillRanch in Austin theis afternoon and i found myself wishing i was at Clear Springs b\c we had talked about it.

Go and have a blast...........
