Thing is, downhill in my parts is more down hills than down mountains.
Thinking a gt sanction may just be the perfect short travel dh bike - at least on paper.
Anyone with some time on one.
My buddy just built one up in my garage...he's only ridden it a few times but seems to like it...I'll prob hit a few turns on it tomorrow....will let you know what I think...one thing I can say is the seattube seems pretty long on the large frame....my friend was cheap and bought a 100mm dropper...turns out its slammed all the way, he wouldnt have been able to use a 125mm.....hes not short either..about 6'1"....
If i was you I'd just save yourself the trouble and get a megatrail
I'm getting old enough that I'm happy to stay on a DH bike, even if the terrain doesn't really justify it.
My lad has rocked a Kona entourage the last few years, and he is due a new bike.
I was looking at the large, but hadn't really thought about seat tube length. Lad is 6'..... Hmmm tape measure time.
