I'd like to apologize to everyone in the northeast for the bad weather they will be getting for the next couple of weeks. I bought a new bike last week, should be picking it up tomorrow, so I expect a solid 2 weeks or so of rain to roll in overnight.

BTW - picked up a new Spec Roubaix. Fact 6r carbon frame, 105 gear - plenty of bike for me, nice smooth ride... I'm happy.

What sucks is it is usually tailwind on my way out and then after 100 miles, I get the headwind for the last of it. It hurts!!!!

If you ride anything like you rode a few years ago at the MS bike tour ride - you'll be more than fine with that double up front! Sick Bike jackson! Many happy miles on it!

I got in about 15 miles on Thursday and about 35 miles on Sunday. I LOVE THIS BIKE. It is sooooo smooth, but still noticeably stiffer than my Jamis was. It fits great (credit there goes to my great LBS), feels great, rides great. I'm very happy.

Now I just need something to make my legs feel better.
