Last week I crashed and took my handlebars to the right side of my ribcage. I went to the ER and got Xrays. The doc called me yesterday and confirmed that I have two cracked ribs (F'ing sucks!!!!). My armour is light and a bit out of date. Is there armour that has any type of rib protection? I think that even the thinnest piece of padding could have made a huge difference. The rockgardn flak jacket seems to have a chest plate that extends to the sides but I cant really tell from pictures. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
