Anyone had a chnace to play around with this set-up yet? I looks like a great idea, but I wondering if it's possible to get the levers and shifetrs into a comfortable/ergonomic position. And from what I've gathered it works with XO and X-9 ('07) triggers only, correct? This set-up might convince me to give up my twist shifters and old Hayes Mags (circa 2000) for next season.

Yup played around with t at worlds during the SRAM camp, it was a pretty cool idea. Makes shifter placement pretty easy.

Oh and it will work with hayes as well...as long as they have a 2 bolt clamp (split perch).

I'm just wondering how easy it'll be to set into a position that is comfortsble for both braking and shifting.

the range of adjustment is pretty limited…if you like to run your brakes MX style (e.g. pretty high up) and your shifter pod tilted back – then the matchmaker isn’t for you.

if you run both close to each other, then it will work.

hahaha, what a great idea considering how much people loved Shimano's integrated lever/shifter combinations (pre dual control)... Seems like a waste to me.

I think its a great concept, can't wait to get one to play with. as someone who likes to run their shifters outside of the brakes (at lesat for DH), compatibility always suffers when using 2-bolt brake levers. hopefully they can be swapped so that they can be used shifters-out, but will have to wait and see...
