yeah. Would've been better if you could actually see ahead instead of just staring at the fork the whole time.
We did some helmet cam footage a few years ago. The hardest thing to figure out was how far to angle the camera up. It was different with each rider. Some riders tilt their head way up. Some don't.
i did a few runs on the sametrail with the chest mount and the helmet mount. the helmet angle looked kinda' lame. It was more steady for sure but it gave no sense of changes in the trail or what was going on on the bike, in a few places where i jumped over stuff you couldn't even tell, just looked like a cable cam of the track. But if i was following someone I'd probably opt for the helmet mount. only solo helmet angle I've ever rally like is the one of Matti at Ft. Bill last year, but thats probably becasue you can still see his hands.
