The fourth round of the 2012 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship was held at the High Point National in Mt. Morris, Pa. this past weekend. Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki’s Blake Baggett finished fourth overall but still retains the 250 point lead. Fellow 250 rider Ivan Tedesco finished seventh overall, and he is now tied for eighth in 250 point standings. Teammate Broc Tickle finished seventh overall at High Point, and is currently eighth overall in 450 point standings.

Baggett Grasps on to 250 Point Lead

It seemed as if Baggett was mid-battle for the majority of both 250 motos. He put on his signature charge in moto one, and began picking riders off as he moved up the ranks. His last move on Wil Hahn secured him a third-place finish in that race. Crashes in the second moto prevented a podium finish, and he left High Point with a 3-5 for fourth overall. He is still clutching on to the lead in 250 point standings.

Tedesco Moves Up

A tough time at last weekend’s Thunder Valley National motivated Tedesco to rebound this past weekend at High Point. He got to work and salvaged valuable points, as his 7-10 finish gave him seventh overall and bumped him from 11th to a tie for eighth overall in 250 point standings.

Tickle Staying Steady

Tickle is keeping it consistent and is currently 26 points away from cracking into the 450 top-five, a goal he’s had on his radar since the first round at Hangtown. His 6-9 finish gave him seventh overall at High Point, and also moved him up from ninth to eighth overall in 450 point standings.

The Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki team now prepares for the Budds Creek National, the fifth round of the 2012 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship, which will be held at Budds Creek Motocross Park in Mechanicsville, Md., this Saturday, June 16. Baggett holds on to the 250 points lead, while Tedesco is currently tied for eighth overall. Tickle heads to Budds Creek eighth overall in the 450 class.
