I have a HDD that I used for a data drive on my PC. I had to nuke and reinstall XP and my primary drive is now a "BASIC" drive. The data drive is "DYNAMIC". The computer doesn't want to play with the data drive.

Is there a way/app/hack that will allow me to recover my data from the dynamic drive?

Ummbikes, ya noob, DYNAMIC disks are a feature of XP PRO not HOME EDITION. Take your HDD to work and burn the data on a DVD. The take your data drive home and format it as a BASIC disk. Sheesh.

P.S. This should teach you not take home an upgrade copy of XP Pro that was laying around the office and then figuring out it was actually being used on a machine at work. id10t.

Do you talk to yourself in real life? I'll bet the people in your office love to be around you... or are those really other people?
I, generally speaking, am the only hope for the people at work for quick IT questions. We all work 50+ hours a week this time of year, talking to yourself is the norm. I'm just being silly.:)
