So if I have a frame made using this new 92mm-wide BB shell with press-in bearing cups, what kind of mtb cranks will fit?

The framebuilder said he'd like to have more real estate to work with to realize the design I'm going for. I have no objection but have no idea what cranks I can actually use...the spindle on a standard Hollowtech LX or XT will be too short, right??

Edit: http://pvdwiki.com/index.php?title=Bottom_Bracket_Options

Looks like I'm wrong and the standard Hollowtechs will fit, albeit barely, eh?

This is the same spec that Pivot and Yeti are using. Shimano and FSA make BBs that press into it and any external bearing type crank designed for a 68 or 73mm BB shell will fit. The bearings end up in the same place as normal external cups on a 73mm shell.
In my opinion this is the best current system and I wish my Ibis Mojo had it. Wider bearing spacing should be stronger and stiffer than BB30 and it's lighter and simpler than thread-in BB cups while making more room for pivots, swingarms, ect.

Yeah, it came highly recommended by the designer...
