Bringing back an old thread. This company still around? Their site hasn't been updated in over a year as of now.
Yes Joe is still running the company.

they still help out my good friend Erik Hudson who is on a very nice SR8, and I regularly ride a friend Chris who is involved with the company and was there the other day.

long threaded rod with nuts and machined cups. A press in other words. One cup pushes the bearing into the other cup, then you have to flip one or something. Been years since I've done it. They have a spacer or step between them or something, so don't force them, get the correct info. Someone else should chime in, or search on BMW UK site.

posting up here... i've got an old riding buddy looking to sell his racelink. it's frame #10 from the original batch of racelinks that were built. Used a lighter tubeset and as such weighs about 2lbs less than the later versions. he wasn't the original owner, but it was fully serviced at bmw back in '08 and has only seen 3 rides since. he wants to sell complete since he doesn't ride anymore. i'm not selling it for him, just trying to help him find a serious buyer. unsure if he's willing to ship internationally, but can find out.

DANG IT!!! Missed it by 3 days. I wanted to wish this thread its 11 year anniversary.

I know this is a thread from the dead, but I miss them Doc days =(

I wonder how many RL's, TMX's and other Doc creations are still rockin and a rollin today.

Just found this on Youtube. Blast from the past, enjoy.

sick attention to detail. how'd you find fresh gazzys? doc bar & shinburgers as well? mental. you still have a fleet of pimp tank bikes?
Its always a good idea to keep some quality parts around in case you need them for a build. Sometimes I have to plan 7 to 10 years in advance. Or fire up the time machine to make a quick parts grab. ;)

Has anyone seen these on the FB vintage DH groups? Looks interesting.

"Remember I told you about working on a titanium RaceLink resurrection? I wasn't kidding. Well, after 400+ photos, months of meticulous studying and of sketching rough blueprints, it's all starting to come together. Behold!
While it was initially necessary to reverse-engineer the frame from the scratch to understand its structure, complexity and philosophy, what you see will be in a league of its own: competitive weight; 1.5 headtube to allow absolute freedom of choice and anglesets; floating brake, but with a conventional 150x12 rear axle; BSA bottom bracket... but with an option to keep the BMX bracket. Remember these things snapping? Not anymore. The rear swingarm will be additionally reinforced. "

Saw that the other day. Curious to see what the final weight will end up.

Remember how the race link was flexy and cracked at the yoke on the rear end? Well now we made it out of titanium
