My BB that I have now is 70x123. I am going to get the FSA superlight crank with the ISIS drive, I will also need to get a new BB. Their italian threaded BBs come in 70 x 108mm, 118mm Italian thread does this mean that it will fit but the axel will be a bit shorter?

FSA Crank

Should I get the 108mm or the 118?

also another number that I see on my bb is 36x24T, what is this relating to?

You can't make direct length comparisons between older square tapered bbs and ISIS or Octalink splined. The fit between crank and spindle is different.

I just went from an old square-taper to a newer splined one. Of course I also switched from a triple to a double. I went from a 68x118 to a 68x109.5..

New stuff is always nice, eh?
