I have an unloader brace from Breg and need to ride DH again, but don't know what to do. I had a CTi that had a detachable knee pad, but haven't researched the Breg. It has to contact the inside of my knee joint and push outward.

Was considering just buying a set of DH knee pads because my old ones are thrashed and modifying the one to have a hole in it for the brace.

Anyone ever done this???

I've got a cti attached to one of my legs for the summer so I was thinking about doing the same thing once I can pound on it dh style. I bought the newer cti knee cup thingy and will probably just use that. Looking at that breg brace, I bet the cti one would work if breg doesn't make one. It's still got the cheezy loops on the sides that go around the lateral pads in the brace, like the one you probably used. It's a way better design though. It actually has some padding in it. I bet it would work though. If you know someone with a burly industrial sewing machine or have a good awl, I'm sure you could modify some pads too.
