So, er, anyone ever seen a set of 2007 888 lowers crack horizontally along a line I imagine is parallel to the tops of the bushings?

Mine definitely have a perfectly horizontal crack in the paint on both legs. No oil is seeping out, so for now I think it's just in the paint. Just wondering if it's a known problem I should keep an eye on...

Sounds a little too sketchy to race on this weekend. Typically when paint begins cracking the metal isn't too far behind, especially if it is in a high stress point and not just a random spot. I have a nice monster you can borrow while you figure that out...
