I just bought a 2012 Reign 0 used. It is in new condition. One issue i have is with this seat post. The clamp has issues. It allows the seat to pivot up and down on the post. I found that there isn't much metal to metal contact in the clamp. The area that is supposed to have the contact wasn't flat. I made the clamping area flat and over tightened the clamp. This worked for a few shorter rides. It started to move again after a longer more intense ride.
I am looking for a permanent fix, without replacing the seat post.

Those posts had lousy heads. It was a common complaint. The post mechanism was very unreliable too. I threw mine out after a year and several failures . There are better dropper posts available now. Way better.
