does anyone know if the the new silver deemax wheels, and the older yellow deemax's use the same rear hub, or more specifiaclly, rear axle??
I've got a buddy who stripped the threads on the rear axle of his newer deemax wheels. I've got another buddy, who happens to live 2.5 hrs away, with an older deemax rear hub (he trashed the rest of the wheel). I was wondering if anyone knows if we could take the axle from the older rear hub and put it in the new rear hub. Could save us 5 hrs of driving time if anyone knows.......
I tried calling mavic yesterday, left a message on their "tech department" voicemail, haven't heard back from them yet.
