So... did you hit the Banner Forest from Seattle (ferry) or drive up through the peninsula? If you went via HWY 101 to 3 then you passed right by my Trailer in the Woods outside of Shelton. You also drove right by the Capital Forest which has about 150 miles of trails including a fair amount of DH... I'm not that familiar with Banner Forest as I've only been there once but I do know that being within 10 miles of the Capital Forest and not hitting a few trails is a crime.

I rode it this last weekend - just like an old friend.
