Between a rock and a hard place.
So just this last week the terrorist that was caught with the bombs in WA headed for LAX was sentanced to 22 years in prison. He could be paroled in as little as 13.

While at almost the same time a leader of a mosque that was raising funds for Hammas and had conspired to do the same for Al-Queda was sentanced to 75 years.

Not a great deal of coverage of either sentancing. Does anyone know why the huge differential in the sentances?

Seems to me that having a bomb and the intent to use it on a specific target within the US is a bigger deal than raising money. Although you could make the arguement that the effect of that single attack had it taken place would have been less than the potential effect of attacks funded by the other dude.
