I'm writing a paper of Drinking and driving laws. anybody know of any oddball laws from different places? i remember hearing in one place they kill you for DUI but i dont rememebr where. any help would be much appreciated.

Yes, in El Salvador you are killed by firing squad (first offense) and in Bulgaria a 2nd offense gets you killed

(I used to teach a course for people who had gotten a DUI/DWI)

I'm calling BS on all of them as, well, they all sound ridiculous. If they are true in any sense, it's only because there are some crazy ass laws and punishments that were ratified in like 1897 but never repealed and are never actually used in modern time.


Edit: I read the other day that Hasselhoff got a DUI. Put that in your paper.
