I think my dvd reading software is crapping out. It's gotten very erratic for autoplay, and even reading DVD's in "my computer" they won't even show. Sometimes I can open them through my computer, but not always. This started giving me trouble with a Spinervals DVD but I also tested it with an offiicial copy of LOTR.
How do I tell what decoder software I have so I can update it? I think that's what I need to do. Could this be as simple as re-setting my DVDs to auto-ply in winamp? That setting has gotten messed up too it looks like.
I got some line of crap from a tech support person on how using Itunes can corrupt my DVD player but 1. I don't use itunes, never have and 2. this is new behavior.
I do a lot of copying DVDs with DVD shrink, and them burning them with Nero.
