do i need to enable AHCI to allow hot-swapping of external drives that are connected via eSATA, or just to enable the eSATA connection to work?
and if it's the later, I've heard that i need to install AHCI first prior to the OS? i don't want to reinstall everything, so i might just live w/ USB...
any ideas?
