While I support Team Slipstream, I'm not sure I'd drop MSRP: $699 on that bike, even if it's worth it.

Why not just take an old mtb and put it to use?

Pretty cool bike tho.

I wanted that bike so damn hard! But they didn't have my size in forever, so I eventually spent the money on other stuff.
I'm totally in love with the color too, it's even better in person...
You're going to laugh, I really like the saddle/top tube pad. They have one sitting at the shop, that was the first place I saw it

Saddle I dig, the pad is a bit too 1980s BMX/fixie nerd for me though.
Honestly, I just wanted the frame, as I have a bunch of nice (too nice) parts I was going to hang on it.

Alright, I have to make a decision....The KHS is $150 cheaper than the Felt, which would you pick?

<edit> I'm really on the fence

I really like the drop outs on that. Recessed so some goon can't take an adj. wrench and remove your rear tire. I'd rather have a nice steel fork on the front as opposed to the carbon one. Check out the Raleigh’s too, they have some really nice details.

I have one more question for everyone; if I put drop bars on the Curbside, could I race it on the track? The HT and ST are 73.5 where as on the KHS the HT and ST are 75 and 74......will the Curbside be too raked for the track?

If you want to race track on it, why don't you get their track bike?
Or the SS with the drop bars...

The second bike has the same geometry (I would assume the same frame/fork) and the first is expensive :( Its an off chance I would ever race track on it, but you never know :p I'll get the curbside....and then I'll post lots of pics, with me having fun on my new bike!!

I think Loco is a big fan and owns one or more Masi bikes.

What happened to the track bike?
All the bikes I'm looking at are fixies and track like. The Masi is a nice looking bike and has the same geo as the Felt, but I don't have a price. I decided I liked the Felt better than the KHS, but my friend thought I should check out these two companies before I purchased.

my Lbs is a masi bike dealer and the ones that they have in there shop are pretty nice. i've talked to them about masi and they love there bikes. masi is made by haro and in the classic movie american flyers they rode masi bikes.i actually think masi might be my next road bike.

I really like the classic look of the bike I posted above, and its equipped with descent parts. Hopefully I'll have a price later today

so what is the difference between a fixie and a ss (single speed?)
on a fixie the cranks never stop turning, there is no "freewheel"

I went to the shop today and compared the Curbside and Masi, and I'm getting the Masi.....I like the classic look and component spec (I'm partial to drop bars and hoods). I'm even going to get it in this color

The Bay.
The felt dispatch is a better suited racer over the curbside. The curb sides cranks are a little suspect as well..
You will need to switch bars on the curb side to race.
The curbside has that high flossy factor though.
The KHS is a tried and trued track bike!
Tough descision. If you want trendy emo girls hanging on you at the local fixie night hang out ,the curbside will get you there.
If you want a no frills cromo track kit get the KHS.

I sell both bikes in my shop as well as the Raleigh which is an awsome choice as well.
