Dancin' over rocks n' roots!
So, it was a nice day and I decided to take a little ride on the new XC rig. I noticed a few things:
1. My front wheel REALLY needs to be trued (it wobbles & bobbles)
2. I miss the :monkey: for some of the technical crap.
3. This jekyll can climb :thumb: (even when I can't).
4. Slow reezay tires are the bomb (no, the jekyll doesn't have them which led to some interesting skids)

Anyway, here are some shots of the new ride.

wow great photos!

Where are those trails and may I come visit for a tour sometime?

How do you like the Lefty fork on that bike? Does it play mind tricks on you without having another fork leg to look at?

I like the shot of you doing the wheelie! SWEET! :) :thumb:

:D Those are the Skidmore trails that our bike club (SMBA) leases from the paper company. They're AWESOME and you're totally welcome for a tour!

The lefty is good! I thought it would be weird, but I don't really notice it all that much. Plus, it's so light (Ti parts) which makes it wheelie-rific!

So does that mean you are going to do a manual for an entire lap at Dalton!?;) :p :D

And thanks for the open invite - please keep me posted of your weekend ride plans - especially Sundays. I have family and friends in the Albany/Troy area so it would be a great way to ride and also visit with potential new friends and old ones too. :)

Note to self: Increase IV drip ASAP ;)

Side note: make lots of chocolate cake for squirrel's bedside table.

I think I lost it back on the 107 trail ;)

Except that we're shopping for a replacement yellow monster (he says it's too big  me thinks he's jealous of my new ride)

Blur, Yeti 575, Intense 5.5, Intense Spider, Superlight???

I think that's all he's looking at right now. Problem is, he only wants to spend $2k so that REALLY limits what he can get!
