The ride out to there was what one could expect for that part of the country. Parking is in the National park system, right by the first quarry. To shuttle to the top, you have to go to the main road and follow it out until you can make the climb towards the top.

The road to the top is rutted and the going slow. A lot of damage can happen to your bike if not loaded properly, especially towards the top. It takes about 50 minutes to drive to the top at the drop off point. The trail is marked by a brown sign on the right.

The first part of the trail is a steep off camber section. Covered with leaves it makes it a bit daunting of a decent, and the rear wheel is sure to slide out if your not careful. Once this section is traversed, the rest of the run is as “fast as you want to go”, with a lot of rocky sections and different levels of steepness. It’s a lot of fun, but not too technical for someone who rides DH on a regular basis. Total ride time is about 15 minutes to pick up point by quarry. What makes it nice is the way you can shuttle the run to knock off some rust before the season starts.

The problem is the shuttle to the top. While it is fun, and a place to ride, it is almost not worth the trip due to the shuttle taking so long and the roads at the top being so bad.
