It's getting close to the end of hunting season. One month and counting down. We are planing to have our First Pay Dirt trail workday 9:30 a.m. Saturday January 12th, 2002 (opening Day by the way). During this trail workday we plan to clear and remove stuff like rocks and broken tree limbs that have fallen on the trails. Reroute one steep trail in the fall line. Cut brush along the trails. And correct some off camber problems. We then go back to the house and eat, I will have sandwich making stuff for volunteers. After lunch we will ride what we just worked on. Remember if you work, you ride free the workday. If you work at least 3 hours you ride free till the race April 6th. If you work at least 10 hours you ride free till we close for hunting season. You must log in your hours.

We do have primitive camping with cold-water showers for those who are coming from far-off.

Check www.tmbra.org www.storm-web.org www.bikemojo.com and www.flatrockranch.net for other dates, directions, and information. Arrangements can be made in advance for working on dates other than the posted Pay Dirt dates.

Come one, come all!

Work on the trails then ride one of the best trails in Texas!

Good Karma!

A huge bunch of riders are going to be there for opening day 2002, and several of us are going to enjoy camping in the Texas winter.

Be there for the workday and plan to camp Saturday night....

It will give you a chance to check out the 18 miles at Flat Rock. Also it is a great place to check your fitness level before the spring racing series. The climbs at Comfort are not forgiving.
