I don't think Kevin and I could get there until 5:30pm.

I would need directions to the coal from work too.

Take a right (east)
For a ways then you'll get to MapleValley/BlackDiamond rd. Take a right
Drive for a ways you'll see a right for 288th ignore it but you're gettin warm
up a little hill you'll see the coal cart parking lot to the right.

yikes!!!
3 ways with traffic you might be better off going this way. With the carpool lane you can get South faster by staying on as much freeway as you can. from 5 to 405 get to Valley Freeway head south
at Kent take the W. Willis St. exit (highway516) take a left (east)
At Central take a left
at E. Titus take a right
E Smith/(which turns into)Canyon Drive/(which turns into)SE Kent Kangley Rd take a right go up the hill
On top of the hill at the big intersection light go forward
Veer right stay on Kent Kangley Rd.
Drive for many many miles to MapleValley/BlackDiamond rd. Take a right
Drive for a ways you'll see a right for 288th ignore it but you're gettin warm
up a little hill you'll see the coal cart parking lot to the right.
beware meth-head dump truck drivers.

The other way is to get on Renton/MapleValley Highway from Renton and follow that, but traffic sucks
Second which might be better...
from 5 to 405 get to Valley Freeway head south
East Valley Rd. exit hang a left
S. 180th take a left go up hill past Valley Hospital
Just follow that road for miles and miles it eventually turns into Petrovisky
Rd. ends at 232nd hang a left
Renton/Maple Valley Rd. across the freeway hang a right
Drive for a ways you'll see a right for 288th ignore it but you're gettin warm
up a little hill you'll see the coal cart parking lot to the right.
beware meth-head dump truck drivers.

phew.... you guys need to buy a Thomas Map-Book...... :mumble:

great ride guys. Snacks, what time did you guys show? We waited for quite a while and tim tried to reach ya on your cell. we saw your truck when we went across the street but when we came back you were gone..... It was a LONG ass ride. I was good up to the last part. I crashed on one of the downhills and superman slid across the trail. after that i had a hard time getting back into it. Oh and the new bike rocked!

Lets do it again!

XC is fat people chasing skinny people around on a trail so they can improve their cardio in hopes of one day being skinny people, which never happens because there's always a cooler of beer in the car to celebrate the ride in which the fat person only caught the skinny person because the skinny person stopped...hypothetically speaking of course!
