A week out. Anyone here going? Got setup with some rad race housing directly in Silver City. Driving down from SLC, should be there Monday afternoon/eve if anyone wants to grab food that night.

Man, this race kicks so much ass. The riding is great, support is great, environ is awesome. I wish my category was a little more cohesive, but that's bike racing. Currently prepping for the TT (50mph crosswinds predicted, woot woot!), sitting on 3rd in the GC...gunning for 1st in the GC after the Monster. The descent off PA on the Inner Loop was RAD. Saw a few guys go down. A certain dev team was UBER-sketchy on the descents...sketchy to the point of wanting to have a word with their coach. Sigh.

2nd GC. Today was a sh!tshow for me and a lesson in stage racing - couldn't push my HR past tempo, but still held on for 4th on the stage. Spent my 3 weeks in Cat 3...onto Pro/1/2 fields. Woot woot!
