I've noticed roland green often doesn't wear gloves for racing, i always have even though i don't fall i just do incase will it make me as fast as roland if i go bare handed?

He does it for weight savings. He also cut off his nuts. I would start with that approach.

get your spleen removed too. race naked. you can save weight by not using a seat or seat post. headsets are for pansies. just throw some grease on the steerer and race.

I've noticed that too (no gloves on Roland), not sure about why though. I get bad blisters on my hands if I ride without gloves. That, and gloves offer protection from tree branches, bushes, rocks, and crashes.

No gloves on Roland, but he wears wrist straps.
