some interesting points.

We should find out if fighter planes were automatically launched during any other hijackings..... if so, then it would be a good question to ask, "why weren't those automatic procedures followed this time?" I can't remember any specific US plane hijackings though, in recent times.... so I don't know if we have a case to study...
